Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt recently announced that he has successfully fought against cancer. He took to Instagram to share this delightful news with his fans world over, as to how he has ‘come out victorious from this battle.’

Dutt wrote:

 “The last few weeks were a very difficult time for my family and me. But like they say, God gives the hardest battles to his strongest soldiers. And today, on the occasion of my kid’s birthday, I am happy to come out victorious from this battle and be able to give them the best gift I can – the health and well-being of our family.”

Expressing his gratitude, he further said:

 “This wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering faith and support from all of you. I am eternally grateful to my family, friends, and all the fans that stood by me.”

Sanjay Dutt was hospitalized after having suffered severe breathlessness back in August this year. He then announced via social media that he would be taking a break from work for the sake of his treatment. Right after, he confirmed of having been diagnosed with stage four lung cancer.
