DigiKhata
Founded in 2020 by Adnan Aslam, DigiKhata authorizes micro and small businesses to manage their bookkeeping using its web and mobile app. The app replaces offline registers and diaries and helps merchants digitize their bookkeeping by recording financial transactions digitally. It also sends automated reminders to its customers for (due) payments, helping merchants recover debts.
Before beginning DigiKhata, Adnan Aslam led finance and bookkeeping capacities at various organizations in Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, and Africa. He’s a professional chartered accountant and bootstrapped the business prior to raising this round, with his reserve funds.

DigiKhata manages Kiryana stores, tea shops, grocery stores, bakeries, fruits and vegetable shops, jewelry, pharmacies, garment shops, and tailors, etc.

First Pakistani app that facilitates you with decent features to handle your personal or multiple business accounts. It manages debit-credit transactions, installment payments, etc.

You can record your inventories and cash balance or download PDF report to share online with customers through its application

DigiKhata raises $2million seed
Faisalabad-based fintech has raised a $2 million international seed round. The round was Led by China’s MSA Capital and joined by the leading MENAP Based Shorooq Partners, SOSV, +92 Ventures, and angel investors. DigiKhata also won a PKR 10 million grant from ‘Karandaaz Pakistan’ for its notable work towards financial inclusion. Currently, it is also taking part in the Telenor Velocity accelerator program 2021.

DigiKhata also launched DigiDokaan in the past. DigiDokaan is a mini-Shopify in the Pakistani language, to help MSMEs launch digital stores within 30 seconds. Its instinctive interface has attracted 50,000+ businesses to successfully create their online stores and start selling online.
