And now along with many Indian fans, she adds another one to her list that is Shabana Azmi.

As the Dhoop ki Deewar actress is no stranger to compliments, Azmi took to her Instagram and commented on Sajal’s posts. Sajal was seen donning a ruby-garnet red dress with bold kajal detail in her eyes giving her a complete desi look.

Azmi’s love transcends boundaries as she wrote, “Hai main mar javaan,” in her post.
Furthermore, in another post after that, where Sajal is seen wearing a pink pastel dress, embezzled with a sahara in her hair as they fall back in a tousled braid, the actress looks picture perfect.

Sajal will be working alongside Azmi in Jemima Goldsmith’s What’s Love Got To Do With It? The stellar cast also includes Lily James, Shahzad Latif, and Emma Thompson. The film will be directed by Indian filmmaker Shekhar Kapoor. Jemima Goldsmith took to Twitter to share pictures with Aly and Azmi, captioning, “I get to work with these South Asian screen legends Shabana Azmi and Sajal Aly.”
