Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck get married!

On Saturday, July 16, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, a celebrity couple, tied the knot in a low-key midnight ceremony in Las Vegas, according to Lopez. We did it, Lopez writes in her fanzine, “Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient.” Furthermore, she said, “We barely made it to the little white wedding chapel by midnight,” Lopez wrote in her newsletter.

She continued: “So with the best witnesses you could ever imagine, a dress from an old movie and a jacket from Ben’s closet, we read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives… But in the end it was the best possible wedding we could have imagined. One we dreamed of long ago and one made real (in the eyes of the state, Las Vegas, a pink convertible and one another) at very, very long last.”

“Love is a great thing, maybe the best of things-and worth waiting for,” Lopez wrote, before signing off, “With love, Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck.”

After meeting on the set of their romantic comedy caper, Gigli, JLo and Ben began dating in 2002, which marked the beginning of their relationship. The two, however, called off their engagement in 2004. When they restarted their connection in May, their love relationship advanced.

After the Hustlers actress ended her relationship with former Yankees player Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez, 46, in April 2021, they got back together. JLo and Alex started dating in 2017, and two years later, before they split up, they got engaged. The singer/actress called off their engagement to the former athlete, and she and Ben rekindled their romance.

They had previously split up as a result of entering into other relationships, getting married to other partners, and starting families.

And now at last the couple made it! Congratulations Jlo, and Ben!
