Harry Potter cast reunites to celebrate 19 years of “The Sorcerers Stone”
Harry Potter cast reunited after 19 years to celebrate the first part of the Harry Potter franchise, The Sorcerer’s Stone. The live event was hosted by Felton via the platform Veeps with the hashtag #19YearsLater.
Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Alfred Enoch (Dean Thomas), were just some of the big names present in the virtual reunion – much to the delight for every Potterhead out there.
But that’s not enough. The HP’s favourite duo Fred and George aka James and Oliver Phelps were also there along with Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Mark Williams (Arthur Weasley) and Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) showed-face, too. Sadly, there was no sign of Emma Watson.
The whole reunion was all about them reminiscing the good old days they have had together, and what was like to be on the set without real magic, yet every moment felt real and magical!
Grint admitted that his funny on-set personality and tendency to laugh meant he and Radcliffe had to film their very first meeting separately. “Once you start laughing, it’s very hard to stop… They used to call me ‘Go Again Grint’ because I could never do anything without doing it like 20 times,” he recalled.
Daniel Radcliff added that it will be a more fun time in next year in 2021, as this is a mere preview of nostalgia, it will be immersed when the film hits 20 years.
