What is Wordle? Everything to know about the viral word game
The world of Wordle
It is a saying that puzzle games are for geeks. It’s not anymore. Wordle has been around for months and is now completely unavoidable, especially if you use Twitter. All those yellow, green, and grey boxes in the posts? That’s Wordle for you. But, what exactly is Wordle? We’re delighted you inquired!
What is Wordle?
Wordle is an online word game that you can play every day. It’s simple, enjoyable, and, like a crossword puzzle, can only be completed once per day. There’s a new word of the day every 24 hours, and it’s up to you to find out what it is. The rules are explained in great detail on the website:
Who created the game?
Wordle was designed by software programmer Josh Wardle for his partner, a word game aficionado, and according to the BBC, it will never be cluttered with advertisements. Wardle is most known for creating Place, a completely insane collaborative art project/social experiment that threw the internet into a frenzy in April 2017.
The New York Times purchases Wordle for seven-figure sum
The New York Times revealed on Monday that it has purchased the viral word game Wordle for an unknown seven-figure price. “It going viral doesn’t feel great, to be honest. I feel a sense of responsibility for the players. I feel I really owe it to them to keep things running and make sure everything’s working correctly,” Wardle said.
How to play wordle?
Wordle gives players six chances to predict a five-letter word that is chosen at random. If you put the proper letter in the right location, it becomes green, as illustrated above. When a proper letter is typed in the wrong place, it turns yellow. A letter that isn’t part of the word in any way appears grey.
You can enter a total of six words, which means you can use five-burner words to learn about the letters and their positions. Then you just have one chance to use those hints. Alternatively, you can aim for speed by guessing the word of the day in three, two, or even one go.
It’s all very simple, yet it’s also quite appealing.
But why Wordle is so popular?
It’s just a word game, after all. But it’s hugely popular: according to The New York Times, over 300,000 people play it every day. That popularity may appear perplexing, but there are a few minor details that have caused everyone to go insane over it.
Because there is just one problem per day, the stakes are raised. At Wordle, you only get one chance. You’ll have to wait till tomorrow to acquire a new puzzle if you make a mistake.
Everyone is working on the same puzzle: This is important since it makes it easy to ping your friend and talk about the puzzle for the day. “Today was a challenge!” “How did things go for you?” “Did you get it?” says the narrator. This brings us to the next point…
It’s simple to share your findings: You’re asked to share your Wordle adventure for the day once you’ve completed the puzzle for the day, whether successfully or badly. It looks like this if you tweet the image…
It’s worth noting that the term and letters you choose are hidden. Your path to the word is depicted in a series of yellow, green, and grey boxes.
It’s incredibly engrossing. If you get it quickly, perhaps on your second or third try, there is a gloating element in which you must demonstrate to your fans how smart you are and share.
It’s also a cool story if you get it by the skin of your teeth in the sixth attempt. But, most significantly, the solution to the riddle isn’t revealed.
Hints and tricks of Wordle
Wordle is more than a word game; it’s also a conversation starter and a way to brag on social media. That’s why it’s become so popular. If you’re a word game genie, you might want to skip the following advice and trust your gut feelings totally. If you’re tired of seeing grey boxes, here are some suggestions you might find useful.
Choosing your first word is as follows: The first word is, without a doubt, the most crucial. Choose a word with three vowels and five separate letters to maximize the value of your opening gambit.
Avoid reusing greys: At the bottom of the Wordle board, there’s a keyboard that shows which letters are green, yellow, and grey. Reusing letters that have turned grey is not a good idea. Yes, this appears to be self-evident. However, coming up with five-letter words that don’t use letters you’ve already tried can take some time and effort. That work will be rewarded.
Letters can appear more than once: This makes things more difficult, especially when you’re out of letters and need to try word four or five. However, letters frequently reoccur, as evidenced by the fact that words like cool, sissy, and ferry were once accurate responses.
Meme world with worldle
Well, with the growing popularity, the game also created some memes! let’s have a look at some of them,
Someone tweets,
Triscuits brand posts,
Another user posts,
So have you tried your Wordle of the day?

Book Review: Thoughts to Live By, by Maxwell Maltz
The author Maxwell Maltz
For those unfamiliar with the author, Maxwell Maltz (1889–1975) was a cosmetic surgeon and author in the United States. Maltz got to the idea that our self-image is the cornerstone of our mental state, and thus of all the achievements and failures that occur in our life, by combining his everyday job experiences as a surgeon with extensive research of human psychology.
His best-seller Psycho Cybernetic, released in 1960, is regarded as one of the best self-help books, as well as one of the psychology classics that set the way for most of today’s personal empowerment programs. We’ll go over the teachings in the book that I think is important in the following lines.
Book Review: Thoughts to Live By – Maxwell Maltz
Dr. Maltz says to people of all ages: “You are embarking on the greatest adventure of your life—to improve your self-image, to create more meaning in your life and in the lives of others. This is your responsibility. Accept it, now!”
Be everything you want to be!
In his book, the biggest lesson drives from the quotation above. Furthermore, he stresses that if you accept his challenge—and his advice—you will become a more alert, alive human being. You’ll never regret it.
The idea of self-image
Maxwell Maltz begins with the idea that everyone has a unique “mental portrait” that describes who they are and what they believe in. Our past experiences, accomplishments, failures, sentiments, and behaviors have all shaped our mental portrait. As a result, this image serves as a foundation around which our personalities are built.
Imagination as a key to success
So, how can we actually come to a fresh perspective about ourselves? The answer, according to Maltz, is imagination: just as we think of ourselves as incompetent, sluggish, knuckleheads brats at times (or most of the time, or all of the time), we may construct a different, creative mental impression by acting and behaving “as if.”
Relax and breathe!
Although leading a proactive lifestyle is crucial, taking time to relax has a significant impact on our ability to dehypnotize ourselves from false beliefs and thoughts. It only takes thirty minutes a day to locate a comfortable location and release all the stress that has built up in your muscles during the day. Furthermore, meditation has thousands of variables, and you can find all you need to get started by simply looking online; the key thing is to make it a regular practice in your life, as it will provide you greater clarity, emotional well-being, and less anxiety, all of which will improve your self-image.
Don’t dwell over old failures!
While Maxwell Maltz says that it’s fine to reflect on our achievements since they can motivate us to do more of what worked in the future, we should never forget our failures. Our mistakes, hardships, and tribulations have all been vital learning steps in our personal development. However, aside from the lessons taught, they are useless and should be completely erased from our minds. Continuously concentrating on past failures does not make the process of improving any easier; rather, it serves to reinforce the behavior you wish to alter. It is, in a nutshell, self-destructive.
Final Verdict
With the aid of his sensible and compassionate book, premised on psycho-cybernetic fundamentals, you can acquire new courage and self-confidence. You can overcome tension and stress, give your life more meaning. Greet each day with enthusiasm and hope, turning a crisis into an opportunity. Make every minute count, relax, build a better self-image, overcome fear and frustration, and rise above failure.
Finally, ‘Thoughts to Live By’ is the elixir you’ve been waiting for to help you live your life more fully.

Thursday Tunes: Kana Yaari by Eva B, Abdul Wahab Bugti and Kaifi Khalil is the vibe anthem of this year!
Coke Studio season 14 raising music standards high
I hadn’t even gotten over listening to Abida Parveen and Naseebo Lal’s ‘Tu Jhoom’ when I was blown away and filled with pride by Kaifi Khalil, Eva B, and Abdul Wahab Bugti Kana Yaari for all the amazing reasons.
Also Read: Coke Studio season 14 starts with Abida Parveen and Naseebo Lal’s finest!
Kana Yaari by Kaifi Khalil, Eva B, Abdul Wahab Bugti
Because I adore Xulfi, I knew the moment I listened to Laari Chooti that he had the capacity to create a masterpiece, and I am grateful that I am alive to experience it. He has established a standard of introducing TALENT and only TALENT since the Nescafe Basement!
Kana Yaari was released in the second episode of Coke Studio season 14 with a loud bang. Kaifi Khalil, a young Balochi singer and composer from Karachi, Pakistan, composed this song. He is also one of the song’s writers. Furthermore, it has Eva B’s superb, crisp rapping, which provided a vibe-y element to the entire song. Furthermore, Bugti’s beautiful folk-lore voice complements the duo’s modern touch. “Tum ye samjho yahan ishq ka masla chal raha hai,” the Urdu lyrics loosely recount the narrative of love.

Ishq faqeerani, (love is of god-fearing)
peer oo muridani, (love is of spiritual leader and followers)
Ishq e waliyani, (love is of saints)
rohdaye khalilani (love is of god’s friends)
Ishq e pirrakay marcha ,tafta ravaani (go and learn about actual love)
Hum malao mah ganja kaasi, hassti bezayni (there were hammal and mahganj, go read about them)
Ishqa nooru watarba, misri xhamani (love is better than those emerald eyes)
Naabi ishqhe chu key eytou, kotau oo pilani (love is not what you and such and such had)
Kana Yaari gadaari (you fall in love and then cheat)
Ishq e naamigaar eda (you are dishonoring love) x2
The grandiose and colourful sets
Let’s talk about the sets. In the first episode, Tu Jhoom had a gorgeous, majestic Sufi performance that provided a soulful atmosphere with dancers twirling accompanying the vocals. And with Kana Yaari, everything is bright and energetic. Despite the fact that the song is about betrayal, it is fantastic for art. Furthermore, it is about failed relationships. The melody, on the other hand, imparted a fascinating atmosphere to the song! Kaifi and Eva B are able to keep the style consistent throughout.
Creating a different world of cultures
Kana Yaari’s cast of personalities highlights an intriguing aspect of Coke Studio: it’s a place where opposites collide. It becomes a cooperative effort to create a world for them. The sombre theme of the song is shifted by video director Jamal Rahman, who honors it with a cheerful ending with the last chord. The artists move around an internal environment in his video, deconstructing brilliantly colored walls as though removing their own unseen barriers. The song is about betrayal, but we see the joy in the video. This time, Zahra Aamer and Sherry Khattak show their mettle on a grand stage.
Listen to the song here:
We extend our gratitude to the entire Coke Studio Think Tank (which includes Murtaza Niaz, Abdullah Siddiqui, Natasha Noorani, Adnan Dhool, and Sherry Khattak) for saving us from a dreadful couple of years!

Book Review: The Secret by Rhonda Byrne
Life happenings and much more!
You know how you get really enthusiastic about something for a couple of days, it takes over your thoughts for a couple of days, and then a few months later, after you’ve completely forgotten about it, it reappears out of nowhere? Or have you ever set an absurd goal, never looked at it again, and subsequently realized you’ve already reached it? Rhonda Byrne explained life events using the law of attraction and whatever we desire in our lives. Not only that, but the book also teaches us how to manage our thoughts.
Rhonda Byrne author
Rhonda Byrne is a television writer and producer from Australia. The Secret, a New Thought book, is based on the law of attraction. She went on to write multiple sequels to The Secret, including The Power, The Magic, and Hero, as well as other books related to it.
The Secret by Rhonda Byrne
The Secret proposes a number of unusual, interesting, and maybe divisive ideas, including:
- You can achieve practically any goal you set your mind to if you focus your attention on it and think not only that you can do it, but that you have already done it.
- If you concentrate on something you don’t want, you will unintentionally attract that into your life. If you persistently obsess on what is bothering you, for example, you will attract more of those situations (and the associated worried feelings) into your life. Instead, concentrate on what you do want in your life, and you will have more of it.
- Relationships, possessions, objectives, and anything else you can focus on—even your own health—are all affected by the Law of Attraction, which states that you attract whatever you spend your energy on (good or negative).
Rhonda Byrne shares the deeper secrets of The Secret!
The book also provides further insights and precise tactics to employ, as well as a history of the application of the Law of Attraction and examples of how it has worked in the lives of various people, making it an engaging and instructive read.
The fundamental advantage of this book is that it empowers the reader. It reminds you that, even if things appear hopeless, there is a lot you can do to improve your situation. There’s a lot behind this, given research on optimism, visualization, and the influence of perspective.
A criticism!
The only criticism of the Law of Attraction’s idea is that we create our own difficult circumstances in life; the obvious examples of children born into different kinds of abuse or millions of people born into extreme poverty don’t seem to fit well with that explanation of reality. The Law of Attraction itself can be controversial, as it’s not a scientifically proven ‘law’, but more of an anecdotally observed phenomenon.
Final Verdict
If viewed from the same perspective, The Secret is without a doubt a remarkable and life-changing book. However, you may only be able to do so if you approach this with a positive mindset. This book may be able to open your eyes and expand your horizons. Furthermore, your horizon. Aside from a few minor quibbles, this is a fantastic read!

Women Empower Wednesday: Aiming higher than mountains, Naila Kiani!
Achievements, beyond everything!
This is a phrase we hear virtually every day: “Women can do anything.” We don’t, however, discuss the obstacles that women confront in achieving their goals. Every day brings a new challenge. Society is difficult, and morality has the highest rate, which can become a problem if it is combined with patriarchy and misogyny. Naila Kiani is one of the most powerful women we know, has not only broken the wheel of misogyny but also ascended against it to an altitude of 8000 meters!
Naila Kiani
Naila, who is currently based in Dubai, is the first Pakistani woman to summit an 8,000m peak in Pakistan, which she accomplished in July 2021 by climbing the Gasherbrum II (8035m). Sirbaz Khan and Ali Raza Sadpara accompanied her to the summit. Not only did Naila climb Gasherbrum II four months after giving birth to her first child, but it was also her first mountain. Naila’s hobby, aside from mountaineering, is boxing.
Naila enjoys athletics and is a trained boxer, rock climber, and casual runner. Her transformation into a major mountain climber, though, happened rapidly and unexpectedly.
The added challenges don’t stop a dreamer!
She adds of her love for mountains and mountaineering, She said that she investigated for two years. She was training, but then she found out that she was pregnant. It was fine for her because it was Covid-19. Nothing significant happened. After her delivery, she slept for two months before training for four months. And then it was time to go for her. It was as simple as that.
Naila Kiani has become the first Pakistani woman to reach the peak of an 8,000-meter mountain. This was her first huge mountain, which she had never climbed before.
It was surprising to climb an 8000er just after having a baby. But the surprises don’t stop there. According to Naila, this is the first mountain she ever climbed. Moreover, referring to the fact that most mountaineers spend their time conquering smaller peaks before attempting the larger ones.
As a result, it’s understandable that she set her sights on a 7,000m summit first. A 7,000m peak, on the other hand, takes the same amount of time to the summit as an 8,000m peak – four to six weeks. Plus, it was only an extra 1,000 meters. But, as I remind her, it’s a thousand meters into the death zone (where the air has so little oxygen that your cells practically die). That is the most difficult task she can set for herself!
She claimed she wanted to convey a softer image of Pakistan through her exploits as she told her narrative. Because one of the issues that deter foreign climbers and tourists from visiting our country is a negative reputation, she is doing everything she can to improve it in her own circle of acquaintances by participating in various athletic events.

Book Review: The Rules of Thinking by Richard Templar
World, under a thinker’s perspective!
We all admire the world’s natural philosophers. They have the most innovative ideas, make the most informed decisions, are open-minded, and never make rash decisions.
Is there something they’re aware of that the rest of us are unaware of? Is it something that we can all pick up on? Yes, it’s a resounding yes. They are aware of The Thinking Rules.
These Rules are the guiding principles that show you how to make wiser decisions, stop procrastinating, know when to compromise, avoid mistakes, find other options, think well with others, stop obsessing about things, keep your brain active, be more creative, and have happy healthy thoughts. You’ll be that person who knows their own mind – in every sense.
Richard Templar
Richard Templar is the internationally bestselling author of the Rules series. His book Rules have been loved by almost 2 million individuals around the world, and they are presently being played by them. The following is a complete list of titles: The Rules of Life, The Rules of Work, The Rules of Management, The Rules of Wealth, The Rules of Parenting, The Rules of Love, and The Rules to Break are just a few of the best-selling titles.
Book Review: The Rules of Thinking by Richard Templar
The Rules of Thinking by Richard Templar is a personal code to think yourself smarter, wiser, and happier.
Underpromise and overdeliver!
Templar begins by laying out his ground principles, which include things like volunteer carefully, get your effort known, carve out a niche, under-promise, and overdeliver. You don’t want to volunteer for everything else because then you won’t have time to complete your main job, and you want your work to be noticed since it’ll be very soul-shattering if it isn’t. Carve out a specialty I think it’s a good idea to be known for something that your team can rely on and that you can become an expert in, whether it’s writing, designing, or understanding in a specific sector, it’s excellent to have a specialty.
Certainty to uncertainty!
Furthermore, The Rules of Thinking goes on that you may have bad days but not show them, that you can have a personal life but not bring it to work, and that you can have a home life but not bring it to work. You can have a personality and be yourself, but you must ensure that you move, talk, and think in a certain manner. There is a rule about how to walk properly and how you should go about doing it. This is where I believe my faith in the book and theory began to shake a little. I believe it is a stretch to believe that there is a specific way to think, speak, walk, and breathe. There is something that allows us to be ourselves without having to think about every single action.
Our Verdict!
Overall, The Rules of Thinking was a one-time read! It did include some positive and excellent advice, such as not speaking poorly of others, being polite, and being attractive at work, all of which are realistic to some extent. I can’t help but assume that as the game progressed, he became bored and out of ideas, so he started throwing in some very strange rules. When the majority of the regulations revolve around how to climb the corporate ladder, phrases like ‘everyone can be wealthy if they apply themselves and ‘relax’ sound a little incongruous. And how to make sure you dress appropriately, look appropriately, and smell appropriate, all of which appear to be the polar opposite of being calm. This is a recurring motif throughout the book.

Best Pakistani Memes of 2021
The memes of 2021
If you didn’t have the opportunity to visit 2021 in person, you may get a sense of the year’s spirit by glancing at the online memes it generated.
The memes of 2021 unmistakably portrayed a messed, uncertain, and jumbled timeline. We looked back in October at how some of the most popular memes aptly encapsulated this dreadful year. Anxiety about the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which has been inadequately mismanaged.
But, as depressing as it may appear, the memes of 2021 provided some much-needed reprieve. By definition, memes condense complicated emotions and feelings into easily shareable photographs, videos, and text posts, as we’ve previously stated. It’s reassuring to know that our feelings are shared by tens of thousands, if not millions, of other individuals. The memes of 2021 have provided us with the connection we so sorely crave, especially at a time when we can’t be together.
Memes that got us through 2021
Memes got us through 2021, whether it was the ever-growing memes over the cricket saga or any morning show mistakes. And don’t worry if you’re perplexed by anything I just stated; we’ve compiled a list of the year’s funniest, oddest, and most crazy memes below.
Best Pakistani memes of 2021
We can all breathe a sigh of relief now that the year has officially come to an end. Let us express thanks for what got us through 2021—the memes—as we look forward to the New Year. Here’s a collection of memes that worked for us.
Cannoli by Soul Cafe
The year started off with the Canoli by Café Soul incident in Islamabad. The owner of the high-end café mocked one of his employees (manager) because his English speaking skills sparked controversy and endless memes came on social media. Our favorite one was,
Pawry horai hai
Pakistan was captivated by a version of someone’s video that was uploaded on social media. The phrase ‘Pawry horai hai’ went widespread not just in Pakistan, but also outside its borders. Let’s have a look at Yashraj Mukhate’s rendition of ‘Pawry horai hai,’ which was our favorite viral video.
The fall of Aamir Liaquat
Then came the famous Aamir Liaquat’s fall of 2021. Aamir Liaquat invited Pakistani track and field athletes. During the show, he and Naseem had a race on set, in which Aamir Liaquat fell on the floor. On this, the internet went frenzy. Out of all the memes, our favorite one was.
Kya Karai ho Muskan
The happening year added much laughter when Faisal Qureshi came up with this famous dialogue “Kya Kar Rahi Hou Muskaan.” During a live show with a bunch of TikTok-ers, Faisal Qureshi loses his temper when a girl started hitting one of his friends, who was the birthday boy as well.
The Formula car fiasco
Then came Nida Yasir with her sheer knowledge about Formula cars, that slew the internet. During her morning show interview, the Nadaniyaan actor struggles to comprehend the idea of ‘Formula 1’ racing in the video, which is from an old episode of Good Morning Pakistan.
Our favorite meme from the lot,
Asim Azhar and Hania Amir
So first it was “Katega Katega” for Hania Aamir and Asim Azhar, but this year it was Katgaya for Asim Azhar but that’s not all. A lot happened, which was good for Asim Azhar. The breakup saga remained the same for both the artists. In a concert, Hania Asim was seen vibing on one of Asim Azhar’s songs and dancing facing opposite the stage. And people were confused.
Moreover, a user tweets this meme which made the most sense at the moment,
Pakistan’s glorious win against India
Furthermore, after Pakistan’s glorious victory throughout Worldcup matches, the most talked-about is Pakistan vs India. Where Pakistan won by 10 wickets. The beautiful victory would be something Pakistani’s will not leave a chance for. Moreover, the love for memes was evident.
We will end the Best Pakistani memes of 2021 thread with the funniest one. “Helikopter Helikopter.” Combining last year’s meme video “wow grape” of Senator Seher Kamran’s. The song by Fazlija, Helikopter was a song from 2015 but gained prominence in 2021. Our favorite meme by far was,
What was your best Pakistani meme of 2021?
