The internet is roasting Leonardo DiCaprio after his latest break-up but why?
Leonardo DiCaprio has broken up, but why is Twitter making memes?
Leonardo DiCaprio has broken up with another girlfriend as soon as she turned 25 years old. It makes sense that memes are everywhere.
Although the Academy Award winner’s odd dating habits have long been known, the addition of yet another breakup to his record has some wondering. After four years of dating Camila Morrone, who had turned 25, the 47-year-old actor decided enough was enough.

Insider reports about Leonardo Dicaprio
An insider has told the New York Post why that trend seems to have stuck for decades. “By the time girls reach 25, they’re looking for more — they’re looking to get married and settle down, That is not what Leo wants. He does not want a family and does not want to be around women who may press him for that.” Furthermore, they said, “The minute a girl meets him, the clock is ticking. If she gets too old, in a couple of years, she is gone. If she gets too close, in a couple of years, she is gone. He’s gotten older but his taste has not gotten any older.”
To see if that is the component that ends the quarter-century curse would be interesting. It’s difficult to pinpoint the precise reason why Leo and Morrone travelled to Splitsville; keep in mind that this is only a “insider” discussing Leo’s love life.
All explanations have taken the shape of memes since no one is certain why they broke up.

Twitter gets activated!
The internet is an expert on subjects like these, and as DiCaprio is being dragged by many, there has been a flood of shit-posting online. One Twitter user wonders how DiCaprio approaches doing this with each of his girls and believes they may have solved the mystery.
Others took a very different tack and joked that he has recently freaked out in every relationship when he finds out his partner doesn’t recall the September 11 attacks.
Another meme came in,
A Titanic meme had to come in,
Others began to make the curious observation that, if the pattern holds, his next girlfriend might be someone who was born in this millennium.
Another person viewed a benefit of dating DiCaprio as “you don’t have to worry about the future or divorces” because it can be treated as a “fling” that you are aware would end.

Netflix reveals ‘Manifest’ season 4 release date
Manifest to take off for season 4
Manifest will formally take off once more. After the NBC series’ shocking demise after season 3, fans have been supporting it. And who can blame them, given the enormous cliffhanger it ended on? After all that drama, a massive fourth season of the show will be released on Netflix, providing an official resolution to the riddle. The complete fourth season of Manifest is detailed here.
Wasn’t Manifest cancelled?
Well, it was, technically. The programme was cancelled by NBC on June 14, 2021. The network actually decided to make the change at the last minute because the cast members’ contracts were slated to expire the next day. For some more recent viewers, it was also unexpected that the series was at the top of Netflix’s Top 10 list as additional viewers binge-watched it for the first time.

People wanted Manifest back!
Following Manifest’s termination at NBC, the program’s cast, staff, and fans came together. This, together with the show’s consistently high viewership statistics on Netflix, increased the likelihood that the show would be renewed.
According to Deadline, Warner Bros. TV, the show’s production company, was supposed to be wrapping up talks with Netflix in August to get a season 4 set up. There had been discussions and “if-come” offers made to the actors and authors as well, but nothing was finalised as yet.

NBC cancelled the series, despite that. If renewed, Manifest most certainly wouldn’t come back to the network or even its streaming service, Peacock, according to Deadline.
With the hashtag #SaveManifest, Twitter went wild, and the series enjoyed a four-week run atop Nielsen’s U.S. streaming list. The Manifest cast, including Josh Dallas (who plays Ben Stone), took notice of #SaveManifest and decided to tweet his own support,
Negotiations for Manifest’s renewal with Netflix were not the first time a choice like this was made. After it was cancelled, Netflix brought back the Warner Bros. TV and FOX show Lucifer. The #SaveManifest campaign had real hope because both parties have a history of reaching these kinds of agreements.
Manifest season 4!
So the season 4 is coming in split parts, brace yourselves for the flight!
Watch the teaser,
According to Deadline, the majority of the actors will be making a comeback. Those that were still alive at the end of season 3 at least. The confirmed returnees include Josh Dallas, Melissa Roxburgh, J. R. Ramirez, Parveen Kaur, Luna Blaise, and Holly Taylor. Ty Doran will replace Jack Messina, who portrayed Cal Stone, in the series in a shocking turn of events.

Friday Flix Movie of the Week: Laal Singh Chaddha
Laal Singh Chaddha
“Meri Mamma kehti thi ki zindagi gol gappe jesi hondi hai, Pait bhele hi bhar jave, mann nahi bharta”
This phrase is a classic rip off from Robert Zemeckis’ “Forrest Gump,” which stars Aamir Khan. “Life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you’re going to get,” is what is actually said in the dialogue. That’s not it, though Laal Singh Chaddha is a scene-by-scene Forrest Gump adaptation, does it add anything unique?
Also Read: Friday Flix Series of the Week: Darlings
Laal Singh Chaddha (Aamir Khan), a slow-witted yet unflappable optimist, hops through life and muses to himself, “Should you create your own destiny or float freely like a feather going wherever life takes you?” Is life a game of chances, a game of decisions, or a symphony of both? The movie, which is a Hindi translation of Tom Hanks’ 1994 Oscar-winning performance in Robert Zemeckis’ “Forrest Gump,” was directed by Advait Chandan.

Laal Singh Chaddha movie review
Forrest Gump’s views on life, love, morality, and destiny are put into words by Laal Singh Chaddha. If the first did so best in a quiet, unassuming, unspoken way, this movie somewhat amps up the volume and energy. It chooses to use speech instead of silent sobs, so be prepared to see Aamir Khan with big eyes all the while speaking with a thick Punjabi accent and PK’s animated zeal. A Disney-like fairy tale without the luxury of magic but with a deeply entrenched believe in miracles, he sets the tempo of this picture a little faster, that of a big-ticket Hindi feature film. While localising the events, Laal Singh Chaddha (LSC) stays in Forrest’s universe.
Seeking and discovering solutions
A classic adaptation is tricky ground to cover. Given its rambling, all-encompassing, nonlinear plot and profound yet straightforward outlook on life and its purpose, remaking Forrest Gump (FG) is even more challenging. You observe a simpleton bumbling through life, not seeking the solutions but discovering them as they go. As he boards a train to travel from Pathankot to Chandigarh, he shares his life’s journey with you. He talks about his difficult upbringing. His tenacious mother (Mona Singh), his childhood sweetheart Rupa (Kareena Kapoor Khan), his accidental wealth, the wars he fought, the friends he made facing death, and running through. We can’t say for sure whether the remake was necessary, but it was unquestionably difficult to top the original because you know exactly how the events in it will play out.
Why Laal Singh Chaddha banned in India?
Like its predecessor, the adapted screenplay by Atul Kulkarni combines fact and fiction. Without taking the easy route, he adapts the fictional tale to the sociopolitical and cultural backdrop of India. Furthermore, he does more than just exchange the chocolates from the OG for gol-gappas. Whether it’s the Ram Rath Yatra, Operation Blue Star, the 1975 Emergency, Kargil War, the 1993 Bombay bombings that followed the Hindu-Muslim riots or something else entirely, Atul does a good job at his difficult job. However the movie faced a ban all over India because it disrupted peace.
Final Verdict
Since I am familiar with the plot from the beginning and Forrest Gump is one of my favourite films, I still believe that if someone hasn’t seen Forrest Gump, they will like Laal Singh Chaddha. The actors’ superb acting is the only thing we can concentrate on most.
Rating: 3/5

Friday Flix Series of the Week: Locke & Key
The magical world of Locke & Key
Imagine a world where you can open any door, or have magic power with a key. Yes, we are talking about a few keys, that will be able to open different magical doors and you will eventually step into the world of Locke & Key!
Locke & Key cast, storyline
The Locke children Tyler (Connor Jessup), Kinsey (Emilia Jones), and Bode (Jackson Robert Scott), as well as their mother Nina (Darby Stanchfield), move to their ancestral home of “Keyhouse” after the family patriarch Rendell (Bill Heck) is murdered. The series is based on the graphic novel of the same name written by Joe Hill and illustrated by Gabriel Rodriguez.
It’s their younger brother Bode who has the most exciting interactions with their powers in Season 1, even though siblings Tyler and Kinsey do have their own adventures with the keys. This Locke & Key adaptation is a little more kid-friendly than the book, so Bode’s young glee after finding each key is palpable and quite contagious. Bode is always given just the proper amount of wonder and innocence by Scott, who never makes him seem overly impressionable.
When Tyler and Kinsey aren’t working with Bode, their adventures throughout the first half of the season are typically limited to high school drama, such as utilising the keys to get even with “mean girls” or trying to win over a potential love interest. When Locke & Key leans into its fantastical elements, it feels far more engaging than when it occasionally resembles a CW teen drama rather than an ambitious mystery.

The magic of keys
The “Head Key,” which allows the series to experiment with body horror while still becoming inventive with its graphics, is one particular highlight in that regard. Using the key, which is put into the back of the neck, a person can figuratively unlock the door to their mind, allowing them to revisit memorable events or record new knowledge for later recall. The appearance of each person’s mental palace varies depending on their life experiences; Bode’s is similar to a sizable playground or arcade, while Kinsey’s is similar to a sizable mall. Even better, the Head Key provides the audience with enlightening glimmers of the Locke family’s past.
Also Read: Friday Flix Series of the Week: Manifest
Past and present!
The series’ skillful use of flashbacks, which enables the spectator to witness the children interacting with their father and imparting believable weight and pain to those connections, is one of its most stirringly emotive features. It’s simple to overlook the fact that a magical key is the source of all of these fantastical events, which are wonderful opportunities for the kids to develop their character. The most compelling aspect of Locke & Key is its assured fusion of fantastical and realistic drama. When the series tries to address too many narratives at once, it runs into difficulty.
Villian, not so villian-y
Dodge, an enigmatic character who torments the Locke family in an effort to get their keys, is one of the issues I’ve had with the book. The issue is not Laysla Oliveira’s portrayal of Dodge; rather, the character’s development suffers as a result of the story’s adaptation from the graphic novel to a more general audience.
Even when Dodge kills someone in a way that would be shocking in any other circumstance, the show frequently leans into the absurd humour of her actions rather than amplifying the tension, undermining some of the show’s scariest moments. Dodge is the main antagonist, so you’d expect her to be a truly terrifying figure. Even with a nemesis like Dodge waiting in the shadows, it’s hard to picture something terrible happening to the Locke kids despite all the mischief they get into.
Final verdict
Locke & Key on Netflix excels because to its bright aesthetics and emphasis on the close bonds among the Locke family. Jackson Robert Scott does a good job portraying Bode, who is the emotional core of the show. However, because the programme prioritises humour above horror, it struggles to make its main enemy truly menacing.
In addition, throughout Season 1, the show makes valiant efforts to be an engaging family drama, supernatural thriller, murder mystery, and high school dramedy. As a result, the series never quite feels like a unified whole. While the fantasy parts concerning the keys and the family storyline are effective, other aspects of the plot aren’t quite as memorable.

The teaser for upcoming drama Wehshi, starring Khushhal Khan is out
Unresolved childhood trauma
Unresolved childhood trauma can occasionally cause problems as an adult. One such character is Asif, who as a result of his unresolved childhood grievances, grew up to be an enraged adult who was even hideous and brutish. A teaser for the upcoming drama Wehshi, which stars Khushhal Khan, depicts the development of a physically mistreated child.

Asif, a beloved son of his father, suffers a sad fate when his father dies, according to a brief teaser released by HUM TV on Monday. With a stepfather that treats him poorly, the built-up anger and grief reflects in Asif’s personality and leads to him being labelled as wehshi [brute]. Will this title lead to a self-fulfilling prophecy?”

In the 22-second movie, few moments from Asif’s childhood were shown. He began by blowing out his birthday candles with his parents present, and it rapidly escalated to physical violence. The next scene shows an older Asif Tahir yelling, smashing objects, smoking, and sitting in full clothing under the shower. Who transformed me into a beast in the midst of love, hate, and you? he demanded.

Friday Flix Series of the Week: Darlings
Domestic violence and Darlings
In our society, abuse and domestic violence have been kept under wraps. We continue to turn a blind eye to many types of abuse because, “hamara masla nahe hai yeh,” “jinka masla hai wo jaanain,” “dusron ke mamlaat mein nahe bolna chahiye.” And the list goes on. The abuse intensifies. Not only that, but the abuser frequently uses gaslighting and love bombing on the victim as an excuse to keep abusing them. With a touch of humour, Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, and Vijay Verma’s brand-new Netflix film has it all. Which I found to be incredibly strange and eerie.

Darlings, storyline
In Netflix’s new offering, Badru (Alia Bhatt) marries the slick and charming Hamza (Vijay Varma), he quickly begins to binge drink and beat her severely. She doesn’t want to call the police, like many other battered women. Badru is urged to leave Hamza by her mother, Shamshu (Shefali Shah), who was also mistreated by Badru’s father. But even after they complain to the police, who are made out to be fools for comic effect, and Hamza is sentenced to three years in prison, Badru allows herself to be cajoled into dropping the accusations right away. She melts when he says, “Why would I abuse you if I didn’t love you? Hamza becomes more abusive.

He throws her down stairs, resulting in several injuries and a miscarriage, even after giving up drinking for health reasons. Badru and Shamshu question whether they should kill Hamza or merely tie him up and give him sedatives through injection as the attempts at humour continue. They attempt both, another comedic turn of events.
Keep violence and humor separated please!
Darlings fails miserably right off the off because it is rude and inappropriate to utilise domestic abuse as humour. The film frequently treats abuse in a cavalier manner in the name of humour, which is wholly wrong. Why does it take Badru two hours to realise that if she treats Hamza the way he treated her, she will be just as horrible as he is? Hamza is a horrible, unredeemable person, but how is Badru any better once she begins planning to torment and possibly kill him? And what about the humour? How is it helpful to make the police stupid? Would she truly want to kill her husband to put him in jail?
Also Read: Friday Flix Series of the Week: Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein
Other offensive points of view are accepted. Someone claims that a forced sterilisation programme is the answer to India’s population issue. Another celebrates China’s one-child policy, which led to the killing of unborn children.
According to a woman, cowardly guys hit women. Why don’t women who hit males act with the same cowardice? (By the way, the man in question gives the woman a bloodied nose right away in response to the “coward” charge.) It’s absurd to think that a battered woman who won’t allow the police put her husband in jail would be able to tie him to railroad tracks and let a train run over him.
Final Verdict
Overall, the film’s directing and photography make it enjoyable to watch. Indisputable acting talent belongs to Alia Bhatt. As always, Shefali Shah is fantastic. Vijay Verma is a great addition to the ensemble, but somehow the movie unforgivably mocks abuse victims in many way.
