Next thing you know, Nora’s fans, from the length & breadth of the globe danced to just that one excerpt – Naach Meri Rani Naach, tagged it mentioned her and uploaded on their Instagram stories – each of which was shared by Nora Fatehi herself on her own stories!!! T-series then posted a thankyou message by putting all those fan videos together in a collage stating how fans have made the song a huge already even before its official release!
Then the song released on T-Series’ YouTube channel on October 20, 2020 and within few days of its release, ‘Naach Meri Rani’ became a already a super duper hit with over 50 million views on YouTube.

‘Ek Jhooti Love Story’ Duo – Madeeha Imam & Bilal Abbas Khan at SAMAA FM
‘Ek Jhooti Love Story’ is a comedy web series scripted by the evergreen writer Umera Ahmed. The series is here with an ‘unconventional plot’ as we’re told by the cast and is set to release on Zee5 on October 30 2020.
Madeeha & Bilal tell us how the story revolves around a middle class boy and a girl who are caught up in the quest of hiding their actual personalities as they embark on the journey of finding their perfect match, creating fake identities on social media and what not.
As they cross paths online and fall for each other’s fake profiles, the plot thickens and gets into its fair share of twists, turns & thrills!

Pakistani version of Netflix soon to be launched, declares Fawad Chaudhry
Other than producing web content, Pakistan is also equipped to mechanize and launch its own version of Netflix real soon.
“We at Ministry of Science and Technology are all set to launch Pakistan’s first OTT TV (Pak version of Netflix) Technology part is complete have asked PEMRA to prepare a guideline on content and we will be all set to launch in PPP mode, it’ll be just another humble contribution,” tweeted the minister.
PEMRA has been asked to set guidelines for the content that will be screened on the medium.
“Can someone – literally anyone else prepare this content guideline?” urged Osman Khalid Butt. “PEMRA issued a show-cause notice to Udaari over ‘immoral content’ because it was highlighting child abuse,” he reminded us.
Actor, Shaan finds it to simply brilliant: “It’s a brilliant effort by Fawad Chaudhry it is time we make our presence in the entertainment arena of the world a new market for the content developers of Pakistan will give them freedom to work. Thank you,” he tweeted.

Faysal Qureshi is named ‘chief’ in the movie and fans can easily speculate as to how his role would be mirroring that of the professor in Money Heist. Other actors seen in the film posters are Asad Siddiqui, Mehmood Aslam, Faryal Mehmood, Anoushey Abbasi, Naveed Raza, Omer Shehzad, and Nouman Habib.
The teasers making waves on the internet have received mixed reviews by the audience where one wing is admiring this all-new treatment to a film, seeing it be the beginning of a better, improved era for our films. Another wing is all out criticizing it to be a rip-off of the hit Netflix show and spoiling the original show for them.
All Aijaz Aslam, a cast member of ‘50 Crore’ could say at this point was that we had better wait it out for 8 to 10 days for more to be revealed before jumping to conclusions and passing judgements. Hmm… what could be the turn of events, we wonder!

Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt recently announced that he has successfully fought against cancer. He took to Instagram to share this delightful news with his fans world over, as to how he has ‘come out victorious from this battle.’
Dutt wrote:
“The last few weeks were a very difficult time for my family and me. But like they say, God gives the hardest battles to his strongest soldiers. And today, on the occasion of my kid’s birthday, I am happy to come out victorious from this battle and be able to give them the best gift I can – the health and well-being of our family.”
Expressing his gratitude, he further said:
“This wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering faith and support from all of you. I am eternally grateful to my family, friends, and all the fans that stood by me.”
Sanjay Dutt was hospitalized after having suffered severe breathlessness back in August this year. He then announced via social media that he would be taking a break from work for the sake of his treatment. Right after, he confirmed of having been diagnosed with stage four lung cancer.

Gal Gadot as Cleopatra angers the audience
Gal Gadot recently stated she’d be bringing the story of the Egyptian queen Cleopatra to Hollywood. The movie is said to be released by Paramount Pictures, scripted by Laeta Kalogridis and directed by Patty Jenkins, who has also churned out the year 2017 hit – Wonder Woman. So clearly, there’s no surprise that Gal Gadot will be cast as Cleopatra.
Fans however, did not take too well to the news and instead of showing enthusiasm, showed much of skepticism, accusing Hollywood of “whitewashing the casting of Gal Gadot as Cleopatra, an Israeli actor with Ashkenazi Jewish heritage to play the legendary Queen of Egypt” leading to an unsettled debate.
Hollywood is said to have a flare for whitewashing history that has in the past too frustrated its audience as they watched white actors like Elizabeth Taylor, Hildegard Neil, Claudette Colbert, and Vivien Leigh portraying an uncalled for white version of Cleopatra and her western appearance on screen. Gal Gadot as Cleopatra in the role thus takes to this past trend.
This misrepresentation only aggravates the ongoing fury in regards to colorism/racism. Gal Gadot as Cleopatra is also seen as a discriminatory move against North Africans. “Why couldn’t Hollywood have cast an Egyptian? Why must an actress of Israeli heritage play Cleopatra? The cinema is accused of colonizing in foreign regions for its white-centric agendas” shared the audience.
To add to the injury Gal Gadot is criticized as Cleopatra because of her public support to Israel and the Israeli army having also served in the Israeli Army as an active soldier when Israel bombed Lebanon in 2006. She has also expressed her support to the Israeli army in 2014 during their war against the Gaza strip, to the extent that Wonder Woman was actually banned in Lebanon, Tunisia, and Qatar.

Pakistan’s favorite film actress – Mehwish Hayat and fashion Lord – Hassan Sheheryar Yasin will be a part of the Pakistani Academy Selection Committee this year, headed by two-time Oscar and Emmy Award winner – Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy. The committee will also include director Asad-ul-Haq and Strings’ Faisal Kapadia.
As the 93rd Academy Awards open for submissions, the selection committee urges Pakistani filmmakers to submit their work for consideration under the ‘International Feature Film Award’ category. The deadline to submit the films is October 20, 2020.
Mehwish Hayat and Hassan Shehryar Yasin recently took to their Instagrams to express their gratitude for having been selected for the honorable role.
The actress said she was looking forward to seeing the nominated films and choosing one as Pakistan’s official submission alongside the selection committee adding, “At least this is one way that we can be putting a positive image of our country and highlighting our talent on the world stage” wrote Ms. Hayat as she looked forward to watching each of the potential films before selecting one to be submitted.
Pop music heart throb – musician Faisal Kapadia, ace director Asad-ul-Haq, sought-after filmmakers Maheen Zia, Asim Abbasi and Hamza Bangash, scriptwriter Bee Gul, and actor Syed Muhammad Ahmed are also part of the committee this time round. Only one film is to be selected from Pakistan as a nominee for the ‘International Feature Film Award’ category.
Pakistan’s previous submissions included Zinda Bhaag in 2013, Dukhtar in 2014, Moor in 2015, Mah-e-Mir in 2016, Saawan in 2017, Cake in 2018 and Lal Kabootar in 2019.
This year’s submission will be announced right after its submission.
