A Squid Game reality show
After greenlighting “its greatest reality competition ever,” Squid Game: The Challenge, Netflix’s most-watched series is no longer just a hypothetical television show. Unlike the series, where the stakes are life or death, the worst conceivable outcome in this 456-player tournament is not winning the $4.56 million grand prize, which Netflix claims is the greatest award in reality television history.
The fame of Squid Game
When it premiered in September 2021, Squid Game became Netflix’s most-watched series, telling the story of cash-strapped participants who play childhood games for a chance to win life-changing sums of money. According to Netflix, the first season is the most popular series of all time, with over 1.65 billion hours watched in the first 28 days.

Hasan Raheem and Natasha Noorani spread lazy retro no love vibes with Faltu Pyar
Natasha Noorani x Hasan Raheem, the ultimate collab!
We’ve all heard a lot of hit songs from Pakistani singers this year, and now there’s another one to add to our playlist: ‘Faltu Pyar,’ a surprising collaboration between Natasha Noorani, Hasan Raheem, and Talal Qureshi.

Faltu Pyar by Natasha Noorani x Hasan Raheem
Raheem and Noorani’s vocals are featured in the music video for the new single, which contains a reggaeton-like beat, latin guitar samples, and, most significantly, Raheem smiling from ear to ear. With a cigarette in hand, the heartthrob Hasan rides into the scene in a vintage automobile, rocking the wealthy kid appearance.
The song tells of a love that is treacherous and full of falsehoods in digital age. Hasan Raheem enters a new future reality, where he discovers Noorani singing her part, her hair pulled back and her crisp voice. Raheem, on the other hand, Raheem has a sleepy, laid-back vibe, swaying to the beats. The music video for Faltu Pyar is an aesthetic blend of forgotten and modern periods, with pop music blasting in the backdrop, neon-colored lights flashing all around, and Natasha Noorani dressed in a retro updo and reggaeton-esque attire throughout the track.

The smooth ragaetton-ish play on aesthetics!
They both sure know how to play with the aesthetics. Natasha Noorani has an amazing sense of creativity when it comes to the music videos. This one is directed by “For Entertainment Purpose Only” (FEPO). The vocal mix is done by Abdullah Kasumbi and the song is mixed and mastered by Talal Qureshi. For the MV, a surprising element was ‘Mehar Bano,’ who was behind the smooth choreography. (SPOT ON!)
So it’s not just about the words on the page. It’s also about the visuals. The modern, futuristic aura, as well as the eye-catching neon play and everything else vibe-y. ‘Faltu Pyar’ has received 103,550 views on YouTube since its debut.

Pop singer Justin Bieber suffers from partial face paralysis
Justin Bieber suffers from facial paralysis
Justin Bieber, a Canadian pop musician, revealed on Friday that he has been afflicted with a virus that has paralysed half of his face and prompted him to cancel several forthcoming shows in order to focus on his recovery.
Bieber revealed that he has Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which impacts nerves in his ear and face, in an Instagram video. His right eye was not blinking, he noticed. “I can’t smile on this side of my face. This nostril will not move. So there’s full paralysis on this side of my face.”
What is Ramsay Hunt syndrome?
According to the Mayo Clinic, Ramsay Hunt syndrome, also known as herpes zoster oticus. Ramsay Hunt Syndrome type II, develops “when a shingles epidemic damages the facial nerve near one of your ears.”
The varicella-zoster virus, which is also responsible for chickenpox and shingles, causes it. However, even when a case of chicken pox has been treated, the virus might resurface years later.
According to the Mount Sinai Health System, Ramsay Hunt syndrome primarily affects adults over the age of 60. It is considered unusual in children. The symptoms include,
- A red, painful rash with blisters full of fluid around one ear.
- A feeling of weakness or paralysis on the face, located on the same side affected by blisters

With songs like ‘Baby’ and ‘Believe,’ Bieber rose to stardom as a 13-year-old and went on to become a global pop phenomenon. He has 22 Grammy nominations and two Grammy wins, including this year’s record and song of the year awards for ‘Peaches.’

Friday Flix Series of the Week: The Family Man
We’ve returned with another review. Yes, I concur. Why not? I watch a lot of shows. This is the only enjoyable activity I have during the week. That, of course, means writing about it. So, here we go again with yet another show this time for “The Family Man.”
The Family Man
The Amazon Original’s cast of The Family Man includes Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Gul Panag, Shreya Dhanwanthary in lead roles. The series is directed by Raj & DK.
The Family Man review
The Family Man succeeds in becoming a surprisingly funny espionage series, capable of quick one-liners as well as slick thrills, without ever overshadowing the genre. The Amazon drama is crafty, flexible, and savvy, like its street-smart protagonist Srikant. The series treads a fine tonal line, cleverly burying its high ideals beneath the middle-class sensibilities of its hero, Srikant, portrayed by Manoj Bajpayee, who gets the joke.
Also Read: Friday Flix Series of the Week: Panchayat
Srikant is an underpaid government employee, which is far from the whole truth. He has a wife Suchi (Priyamani) who he has regular middle class arguments. Sri has settled into his government work, much to his family’s dismay, despite their repeated suggestions that he find a more profitable vocation.
Sri is an agent in a top-secret intelligence organisation called TASC, a strange offshoot of RAW, but his family assumes he is rotting away as some paper-pusher behind a desk. Their mission is to perform widespread surveillance in order to detect patterns and avert terrorist acts. “Privacy is myth, much like democracy,” Sri’s closest friend says to a novice agent in the first episode, surrounded by enormous screens and cutting-edge technology.
The Family Man is surprisingly topical as a workplace comedy in situations like this, and as a domestic sitcom when Sri is at home. Sometimes he goes out of his way to spy on his kids for instance Sri uses high-tech surveillance software to hack into his daughter’s phone to see whether she has any boyfriends.

Final verdict
While there are many outstanding scenes in the show, they stand out for their exquisite coordination and choreography. Overall, The Family Man checks all the elements that make it worth binge-watching. Yes, there are flaws, but it’s still a worthwhile movie!

Drama Review: Habs
Habs: a story of love, trust and betrayal
Habs, a new drama series on ARY Digital starring Feroze Khan and Ushna Shah, appears to be an explosive take on betrayal and trust issues. Ayesha Omer is the second lead, and Feroze Khan and Ushna Shah are the onscreen couple. The film is directed by Musaddiq Malek and written by Aliya Makhdoom under the auspices of Six Sigma Productions. The additional cast includes Saba Faisal, Hina Rizvi, Irsa Ghazal, Javed Sheikh, Imran Aslam and Dania Anwer.

Habs storyline
The show starts with a graduation ceremony scene and let’s be honest, I’ve never seen a graduation ceremony in a ill-lit small pea-sized auditorium and the longest applaud. So, right from the start, there was a lack of execution. Ayesha Sadiq (Ushna Shah), the protagonist, received a gold medal in her graduation and plans to continue her education. But then comes her mother (Saba Faisal) who is a victim of her own mother’s financial exploitation. This is simply because she works and supports her family is tantamount to robbing her of her basic human right. Not only that, but the mother’s financial abuse is so severe that she refuses to let her keep any of her money. Bano intends to marry Talal and as usual because of her greedy mother the proposal gets rejected for the fourth time leaving Bano shattered.
Feroze Khan (Basit), who plays the main protagonist, comes from a damaged home. Marriage is something he despises. Feroze’s father died, and his father’s final request was for him to forgive his mother and ex-wife so that he might have someone in his life, but Feroze is unwilling to forgive and forget the betrayal he and his father experienced as children. Not only that, but he is unwilling to trust any other woman in his life. And it is for this reason that he is opposed to marriage.

Marriage is important than father’s property
Javed Sheikh portrays Feroze Khan’s (Basit) father in the film. Who has a will that stipulates that he is only entitled to his entire estate if he marries? Which he still flatly refused. Ayesha Omer debuted as Soha in the first episode. Feroze Khan’s character has a very sweet and tranquil demeanour, which is a welcome surprise. Basit, on the other hand, is perplexed by his father’s absurd demand that she marry before taking over the business. With this, he considers marrying Soha. The plot of Habs drama sure is exciting and engrossing for the audience.

Abrar ul Haq will proceed to take legal action against KJo for stealing Nach Punjaban
Abrar Ul Haq vs Karan Johar
Abrar ul Haq, who recently called out Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and T-Series for using his 2002 hit Nach Punjaban for the filmmaker’s next film Jugjugg Jeeyo, is now intent on pursuing legal action against the filmmaker.
A legal battle
Bollywood has always been able to get away with ripping music by merely “crediting” the creators of the originals in a YouTube video. But Abrar Ul Haq is planning not to back down. According to his most recent video message, he finds no solace in the fact that such a well-known director and record company have rehashed and repurposed his chart-topping hit.

The musician took to Twitter on Saturday to share a video of himself saying, “A lot of fans have been asking me ‘Why haven’t you went to court against Karan Johar and T-Series for stealing your song Nach Punjaban?’ The answer is, yes, I’m going to the court don’t worry. Merely saying that the credit has been given because the song is well written and would make their movie a hit. I never gave you the song, I never gave anybody the rights to my song. It belongs to me so I’ll get it back and I’m coming to the court, see you there!”
What actually happened?
On May 28, Johar published the music video for The Punjaabban Song, which featured the JugJugg Jeeyo cast of Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and Neetu Singh dancing to the popular chorus and hook of Haq’s 2002 album Nach Punjaban’s title single of the same name. And adds the name of Abrar in the description. After Tanishk Bagchi, it features Haq’s name.
Abrar, on the other hand, has stated that it’s not licensed to anyone. “Nach Punjaban has not been licensed to anyone. If someone is claiming it, then produce the agreement. I will be taking legal action, he stated emphatically.
Let’s hope for the best!

Stranger Things Season 4 Sets Netflix Record for Premiere Weekend
Stranger Things season 4 won all
The previous week brought the arrival of Stranger Things. With the cherished Netflix series, bringing the first “Part” of its fourth season. The return has been overwhelming to the personalities of the show’s fanbase. The watchers commend the new episodes’ retro references and significant personal beats. Not just that, but also hypothesizing ahead about the show’s impending fifth and last season. Clearly, that publicity appeared in a significant way with respect to Netflix’s inner evaluations.
Stranger Things over Bridgerton
On Tuesday, Netflix uncovered that Season 4 Volume 1 of Stranger Things has broken the record for the greatest debut. This sums up with a total of 287 million hours seen between May 23-30, after just three days of being on Netflix. This is breaking Bridgerton’s records!

Season 4 features more horror
In Season 4 it’s been a half year since the Battle of Starcourt, which carried dread and obliteration to Hawkins. Battling with the outcome, The group is isolated interestingly — and exploring the intricacies of secondary school hasn’t made things any more straightforward.
In this weakest time, a new and frightening powerful danger “Vecna” surfaces, introducing a grisly secret that, whenever tackled, could at long last stop the detestations of the Upside Down.
Barb and Suzie get justice this season!
For Suzie: Following the analysis of Suzie in Stranger Things, she is reclaimed in season 4 when Mike concedes that she was the hero of season 3. While battling to sort out some way to find Eleven, Mike demands that Suzie is the one in particular who can help them given she “saved the world last year”. Despite the fact that Suzie’s activities might have come speedier during the Battle of Starcourt, that’s what mike’s line affirms if not for Suzie’s skill then nobody would have made due. Despite the fact that it will not fulfill all Stranger Things watchers, it answers the kickback that Suzie got.
For Barb: Following quite a while of being apparently neglected, Barb is given closure when Vecna powers Nancy to recall her. In Stranger Things season 4, Nancy is made to see Barb’s rotting body, while Vecna finds out if she’s as now overlooked how she let Barb be to bite the dust. The scene goes some way toward answering Stranger Things’ analysis that nobody thought often about Barb in light of the fact that plainly her passing actually weighs vigorously at the forefront of Nancy’s thoughts.
Is there a season 5 for Stranger Things?
The answer is YES! According to the Duffer Brothers, “Seven years ago, we planned out the complete story arc for Stranger Things. At the time, we predicted the story would last four to five seasons.” Furthermore, they said “It proved too large to tell in four, but — as you’ll soon see for yourselves — we are now hurtling toward our finale. Season 4 will be the penultimate season; Season 5 will be the last.”

Bringing back the nostalgia with Bollywood’s musical soul, KK!
The end of an ERA with KK
I talk about music a lot here, and I know what I’m talking about. As someone who has liked several styles of music for many years, there is still something incredibly new about vintage Bollywood music, and this is surely due to KK!
I immediately started playing a KK jukebox on YouTube after hearing of his tragic death, only to find myself singing along to the lyrics of songs that were over 5-10 years old. That reminded me that KK’s songs were all my favorite Bollywood tracks. And my feelings for them have grown much stronger.
Who is KK?
Born in Delhi to Malayali parents C. S. Menon and Kunnath Kanakavalli, Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK, was an Indian playback singer. He recorded songs in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, and Gujarati languages.

KK magnificent career
KK began his career by singing for advertisement jingles and made his film debut with an A.R. Rahman soundtrack. In 1999, he launched his debut album titled Pal. The songs “Pal” and “Yaaron” from the album Pal became very popular and are commonly used in school farewells.
He sang about 3,500 jingles in 11 languages over the course of four years. Lewis was named KK’s mentor after giving him his first jingle in Mumbai. But fate had other plans for KK, who preferred to be heard rather than seen.
His popular songs included “Tadap Tadap” from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999), the Tamil song “Apadi Podu”, “Dola Re Dola” from Devdas (2002), “Kya Mujhe Pyaar Hai” from Woh Lamhe (2006), “Aankhon Mein Teri” from Om Shanti Om (2007), “Khuda Jane” from Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008), “Piya Aaye Na” from Aashiqui 2 (2013), “Mat Aazma Re” from Murder 3 (2013), “India Wale” from Happy New Year (2014) and “Tu Jo Mila” from Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), among others.
He has received six Filmfare Awards nominations and a Filmfare Awards South.
KK’s last concert and lack of management
Just hours before his death on May 31, the legendary 53-year-old vocalist sang at a concert in Nazrul Mancha, a venue of the Sir Gurudas Mahavidyalaya college in Kolkata. In this regard, just a few speculations have surfaced.
The air conditioning was not working at Nazrul Mancha the day before too. He has already expressed his dissatisfaction with the situation. It’s not an open auditorium, and the venue should at the very least keep an eye on its appliances if they’re charging so much. The artist was shown sweating considerably in a number of videos.
He was basically asking the administration to turn on the air conditioning and turn out some of the lights. He was expressing, “Pichwara jal raha hai.”

People knocked down the doors and walked inside the auditorium without a ticket. The hall had a capacity of 2200 people, and there were over 6000 people present. In the auditorium’s passageways, a few people are celebrating by blowing fire extinguishers. There was no one in charge of security. Imagine the heat of Kolkata, then a packed auditorium with no air conditioning, and you’re singing your heart out at the top of your lungs. The heart attack does not appear to be normal.
Celebrities’ condolences and tribute to KK
Celebrities came on Twitter and pour in their love and tribute for the late artist. Fellow singers also are in shock after his tragic demise.
Emraan Hashmi, whose on-screen sing-sync was created just for KK’s replay, was stunned. He tweets,
Furthermore, fellow singer and friend Vishal Dadlani tweets,
